sh-racing54 wins the F1 2016 F1 league drivers championship; Mercedes win the F1 league constructors championship

sh-racing54 has been crowned the F1 2016 F1 league drivers champion for the 2nd season in a row after finishing 2nd at the USA GP. The title was all but wrapped up before the event, but sh just needed to finish it off to ensure he had an unattainable lead in the championship with 3 races to spare. Sh again this season has shown his extreme class and consistency throughout the season (minus 1 or 2 mishaps on the way!!!). His speed, precision and sometimes brave overtakes means that you rarely see Sh off the podium. The season started off in checkered form, winning in Australia & China, but finishing in the lower end of the top 10 in Bahrain and crashing out of the lead at Russia & Monaco. Every one of those occasions in Bahrain, Russia and Monaco saw skyline_catt1683 take the win, meaning that it appeared that Sh had a real true battle for the drivers title. skyline also beating Sh to the win in Canada at the time put skyline at the top of the standings. But from Azerbaijan onwards, Sh has gone on to win 9 of the last 11 races to seal the title. The introduction to XxCarrexX06 to the championship brought another challenge to Sh in all races since Austria, but Sh has managed to hold of that challenge in all races apart from Germany & USA.

The USA GP also saw Mercedes wrap up the constructors title as well for the 2nd season in a row as well. Kimi_Raikkonen84 has been a handy team-mate to Sh for the last 2 seasons, to pick up those extra vital points to put a very strong challenge towards the constructors championship.

Sh will take the opportunity after confirming his title to miss the Mexico GP to go and watch the Le Man 24 hours. But Sh will be back for Brazil & Abu Dhabi, hoping to beat his number of race victories in a single season. He’ll need to win both Brazil & Abu Dhabi to achieve that.

Congratulations sh-racing54 & Mercedes.

A stronger challenge will be provided next season 😉
