MYKMAYHEM wins the F1 2016 GP2 League drivers championship

The GP2 League race at Japan this weekend witnessed MYKMAYHEM winning the GP2 league race at Suzuka, his 11th of the season, which also gave him the GP2 drivers title with 5 races to spare. Mayhem started the season in peerless form, winning the first 10 races of the season. He has also gone on to get 2nd place at Hungary, Germany & Malaysia and a 3rd place in Belgium, with his only DNF coming at Monza.

Mayhem has shown from the very first practice session that he was going to be a contender for the title, which was proven with the 10 race winning run during the first half of the season. He has found life a little tougher on track since Austria with the introductions of big_prenta, Keyo & Newkart to the championship along with a rejuvenated Charlie and the return of Madman to the league.

I can easily say that since Austria the GP2 league has seen fantastic track action, which has always kept the commentators on their toes as it has never been clear who would go on and win the race.

Mayhem will now take the opportunity for the remainder of the GP2 campaign, to race with all of his assists off to prepare himself for racing in the F1 league next season.
