    FiA Summary

Matthew appeal against mateyboy: Decision – Racing incident, no further action.

This incident was looked in great detail to see if anyone was deemed at fault. Upon the evidence, you can see that Mateyboy is having to take avoiding action from DaveJ who has braked a little earlier than was expected by Mateyboy and has to dart right to avoid hitting DaveJ. Matthew has come up on the right and has braked later than the pair of them and Mateyboy and Matthew have met in the middle. As a result, the FiA believed it would be unfair to point the blame at anyone, considering it’s turn 2 on lap 1 and that a racing incident was fair.

    Corner cut/track limit penalties:

Mayhem receives a 15 second post race time penalty for hitting the 4 penalty threshold for track limits/corner cuts. Mayhem does not lose out on any positions.
bigdave235 receives a 30 second post race time penalty for exceeding the 8 penalty threshold for track limits/corner cuts. Dave as a result drops down to 10th place, promoting Demon and Matthew to 8th and 9th respectively.

Due to the F2 league currently not running due to lack of numbers, the FiA meetings will now be held every 2 weeks on the Wednesday before the F1 league race. This will allow extra time for anyone to submit appeals from the previous race.
