Formula 2 Returns

After a successful 2019 season Formula 2 racing is making a return to RaceStation!

The format for the league will remain largely unchanged for the 2020 season. Races will take place on Wednesday evenings at 7:30pm UK time starting with a 1 shop qualifying, followed by 50% feature and sprint races. The league is a semi assist league, so drivers are able to use traction control, an automatic gearbox and the driving line if they wish. Setups will also be limited to pre-sets.

The season will start in Bahrain on the 30th September, followed by the Dutch GP a week later. Races will then take place rough every two weeks to follow the F1 season, with the Abu Dhabi final happening a bit earlier than the F1 races. Also, to fill the gap in the F2 calendar that would normally happen when F1 heads to Canada (in real life the F2 championship does not head to North America), the F2 league will also head their for a special round of the championship! You should be able to scroll through the calendar here for the full schedule of races, or check out the main site calendar.

You can find the signup link to the season here. You can also say which team you would like to join. As there were some changes to the teams between 2019 - 2020 and we will have to start the season using the 2019 cars (which will probably be updated at some point) below is a list of the teams available. If more than two people want to join a team, priority will be given to drivers who took part last season, and then on championship finishing position.

We look forward to seeing you out on track, but until then check out some highlights from last season at Monza!
