LMP2 Endurance Championship & Renault R.S. Cup annouced for Project Cars 2

Racestation are happy to announce 2 brand new championship coming to Project Cars 2. The first of which will be a LMP2 Endurance Championship and the other being the Renault R.S. Cup. After the success of the Ginetta GT4 Challenge before Christmas, it’s time we crank it up a notch with 2 leagues that will test the skill and endurance of any participant.


LMP2 Endurance Championship

The LMP2 Endurance Championship will take place on Saturday evenings starting at 7:30pm GMT. A 30 minute qualifying session will be followed by a 1.5 hour or 2.4 hour race. The 2.4 hour races will be a day/night race with random weather set, whereas the 1.5 hour races will be set as day races and with dry weather set.

A points system ranging from 15 points for first, to 1 point for tenth position will be used, but getting a pole position or a fastest race lap will gain you an extra point. This championship will have a constructors championship running as well, so find yourself a teammate and sign up together. Renault R.S. Cup

The Renault R.S. Cup will take place on Monday evenings starting at 8pm GMT. A 20 minute qualifying session will be followed by a 45 minute race. The track list for this league is;

The points system used for the LMP2 Endurance Championship will be used here as well, with a point for pole and another for the fastest lap in each race. This championship will have a teams championship running as well, so find yourself a teammate and sign up together. To signup for the league click here to head over to the forum, posting a picture of your car livery/driver number.  Both leagues will also run with Accelerated Tyre Wear.

Normal Racestation rules and regulations will apply in these races, but for the specific info on how the lobbies will be setup you can find more information in each league forum.
